So I bought this because I love skin scents and Clementine and because Le Monde Gourmand creates some unique skin-scent fragrances that are calming and reminiscent of sitting in the shade of a tree in the hot summer or enjoying the warm sun of May with the intoxicating breeze of flowers. This is the vibe of most of their perfumes to me. I love natural scents, woody, earthy or aquatic, also herbal smells even more than gourmand ones and some good balsamic notes, incense, leather, and amber. Some have a solar essence like Le Soleil Brille which is a dusty floral skin scent and gives that sunny soothing feeling even though I'm not a fan of its intense and sharp, dusty, floral blast at first. Others like Santal Supreme are very herbal (its a pretty good dupe for the cardamom edp by kkw Nude Soleil). So Clementine Bisous is also another bucolic scent, but it's not the Fleur De Blonde ethereal type. What I don't like it's how sour it turns on my skin at the drydown and how there aren't any smooth notes in the background to add some warmth to it and balance the sour tone. It's not a true Clementine sweet scent due to that. Nevertheless I do enjoy the opening, it's quite sharp, slightly bitter like unripe fruit and quite green, and with a touch of sweetness from the Clementine, but wish that was amplified.
